Our pastry crew—equal parts science nerds and flavor daredevils—tests, tweaks, and taste-tests again until each treat hits the perfect high note. Pull up a spoon; the encore is served.

Dana Blanton is our owner and head baker.
Her baking career started as a way to create art. She was a baking manager and cake decorator for Publix for 18 years before breaking out on her own to create what is now Cake Vixens. As an artist for her entire life she has experience in drawing, painting, and sculpting.
Her favorite thing about having a bakery is the relationships she builds with her clients and watching them grow. It can start with a birthday cake that leads to a bridal shower and wedding cake. The same client then comes back for their children’s birthday cakes. One of the longest client relationships started with his 2nd birthday Dragon Tales cake and now all the way to his 22nd birthday cake, and he hasn’t missed a year yet!
Even though the email responses have room for improvement, she always puts maximum effort into her cakes and going above and beyond for her customers. In her true authentic artistic fashion she does everything she can to bring the sketch or design to life.
